How do I use your shaded line art?(This is a very long winded explaination, ment for peopel new to Photoshop and Sai. If you already know how to use these programs, then you don't have to read this.)It's very easy.
Coloring inside the lines:
Click 'Download' and download the file to your computer.

Open the file in Sai or in photoshop.

From there, you should be able to see the different folders for the different lines.

You may remove any folders that contain line art you don't want to use. This will help prevent confusion.

Simply 'opacity lock' the gray layer labeled 'Base' in the folder with the line art you want to use. This will prevent you from 'coloring outside the lines.' You may color on that layer all you want, and it wont go outside the lines I have provided for you! c: This option is normally in the panel right above where all your layers are located.

If you wish to add extra layers for more advanced coloring, in Photo Shop, simply make a new layer above the gray layer labeled 'Base', right click on the new layer, and select 'Layer Clip'. Now, anything you put on that layer will not go outside the layer below it. You can have as many of these 'Layer Clipped' layers as you like, they wont go outside the lines. As long as you don't have any layers in between the 'Base' layer and 'clipped layers' that are not clipped, it should work fine.

In Sai, Simply select the 'Base' layer, and click 'Preserve Opacity', which is also located just above the layers window. Color to your hearts content, you wont go outside the lines!

To add more layers for advanced coloring, simply make a new layer above the 'Base' layer, and with your new layer selected, click "Clipping Group'.

You can have as many of these layers as you want, as long as you don't have any layers in between the 'Base' layer and 'clipped layers' that are not clipped.
Using the shading:
You will notice that the shading layer is already clipped to the base.

DO NOT HAVE ANY LAYERS THAT ARE NOT CLIPPED TO THE BASE BETWEEN THE 'SHADING' AND THE 'BASE' LAYERS. Or you will have very messy shading c:

If you want to just use black, you don't have to do much else besides mess with the opacity of the layer, to make it darker or lighter.

If you want it to be colored, simply click 'Opacity Lock' on Photo Shop, or "Preserve Opacity" in Sai.

Then, simply color over the shading with the color you want it to be. It will simply turn the shading that color, without messing it up.

From here, you simply turn the 'Shade' layer to 'Multiply', and play with the opacity to make it darker or lighter.

You can also use the 'Opacity Lock' and "Preserve Opacity' to color my line art any color you want it to be. Just Opacity Lock the line art layer, and color over it.
